He said, “It’s Curtains For You.”.
Hello
Yesterday afternoon I visited the specialist. It was the latest of several such visits ove the past 15 months or so.
The first was late in 2016. Then he had told me, “It’s curtains for you”.
He had found cancer in my esophagus and saw no future for me.
In February 2017 I had major surgery.
I don’t want to dwell on that or the long months of recovery which followed.
Suffice it to say that it was difficult, stressful.
Last month I had further surgery, this time thankfully comparatively minor.
Yesterday he told me, “You are clear. The cancer is gone. All you need now is a checkup from time to time”.
We rejoice and are deeply thankful. God has been good to us
2017 has been a difficult year, not one I would wish on you or anyone else.
Yet the end was wonderful. I have life.
This story has more. That is something I will tell you next week.
In the meantime 2018 is already almost at the end of its second week.
Let me wish you a good and prosperous year in good health.
Steve Terpstra
PS: I also wish you a blessed Sunday
