The other day something reminded me of that song “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers.

In the song, the Gambler advises a young player “If you’re gonna play the game boy, ya gotta
learn to play it right.”
Good advice for any player.

Take starting your own gig online for instance.
Most people play the game wrong.

Is it because they’re bad students?
Hardly.

Is it because they don’t have that in-born talent everyone’s talking about?
Not at all.

They just learn the game from other people who don’t know how to play it right.
It’s the blind leading the blind.
