Permission Free Sick Days

I woke up with a terrible cold.

Sore throat, nose clogged and a throbbing headache.

In the past this would have been a rough week.

Being sick is one thing. Being sick on the job completely different story. And if you ran out of sick days… tough luck!

I don't care if you're dying - you better show up.

Or else…

Good thing I don't have to "show up" anymore.

Now I'm calling my own sick days, vacations and holidays.

If I'm too sick to work today - no worries - I can always catch up tomorrow.

There's no boss to yell at me.

There's no chairman of the board to threaten to fire me.

There's no reason to worry because my business works even if I don't.
