Truthfully, my goal on starting any of my businesses was not to make a million dollars...
...although if I did I wouldn't be unhappy.

My "whys" are pretty simple...
* Time freedom to be with my children. My first business allowed me to stay home with my children from birth to age 12. That was a sweet gig!
* Leaving a job that was not fulfilling. It paid well but the money wasn't worth my peace of mind.
* I love working from home. I am the most productive early in the morning. I can tap into that productivity whenever I want to now.
* More time to travel
I have never wanted any type of expensive car or a massive house.
I travel on a budget. Fancy hotels don't thrill me...
...the vacation does.
All I require is a reliable vehicle, a warm roof over my head and the time to hang out with family & friends.
If you want all the "toys" that's cool too. It's not my motivation but it may be your "why".
The things I disiked about working a job were...
* The commute especially in winter. My commutes were sometimes up to 3 hours a day.
* Working my ass off to make a company very rich.
* Having to ask for time off
* Office politics
* Leaving my house at 6:30am and getting home at 6 pm. Makes it very hard to muster the energy to do more than make supper, clean up and then go to bed.
Now I work for the best boss ever...
...ME

...and I love it!
