Elite Ad Exchange HOT Advertising Blog!
The countdown is officially on.
After several weeks of preparing, learning, improving SpareTimeProfit.com and documenting this journey, we're getting very close to the 3-Day Live ClickBank Profit Challenge beginning October 6.
And now I'm changing my focus.
I'm no longer asking:
“What else can I promote?”
I'm asking:
That's a much better question.
If you've been following my ClickBank Profit Challenge updates, we've covered a lot already.
We started by looking at affiliate marketing differently.
Then we moved into:
Traffic

The Click
↓
Useful Content
↓
Trust
↓
Opt-Ins
↓
Follow-Up
↓
Relevant Offers
↓
Building Something You Control
↓
Finding the Right Audience
I'm beginning to see these as pieces of one system instead of separate marketing tricks.
That's progress.
But there are still plenty of questions I want answered.
I'm not trying to become an expert before the live Challenge begins.
I'm doing something simpler.
I'm getting my foundation ready.
SpareTimeProfit.com looks much better than it did when this journey started.
I've been adding Challenge updates regularly.
I've improved the banners.
I've created a clearer path for visitors.
And I've started organizing the website around subjects that actually fit my interests and audience.
There's still work to do, but that's okay.
We're building—not waiting for perfection.
I've used solo ads, mailers, traffic exchanges and other advertising methods.
Now I want to understand traffic better.
Not simply:
“How many visitors did I get?”
But:
Where did they come from?
What did they read?
What made them click?
Which visitors were actually interested?
Those are much better questions.
Update #5 helped me think differently about follow-up.
Getting someone to visit once is good.
But having a system that allows an interested person to continue learning can be much more useful.
That's one reason the ClickBank Profit Club funnel interests me.
The system already provides a path for interested visitors to opt in and continue receiving information.
My job is to get the right people to that opportunity.
Update #7 was especially important.
I'm not trying to sell everybody.
Spare Time Profit is increasingly speaking to:
Retirees
Beginners
People struggling to put affiliate marketing together
People looking for productive spare-time opportunities
People interested in creating something online without another full-time job
That gives me much more direction.
When October 6 arrives, I'm going into the training with questions.
I want to learn more about:
Building better funnels
Creating stronger offers
Improving list building
Using email follow-up effectively
Finding better-quality traffic
Tracking what works
Improving conversions
And most importantly:
That's what I'm hoping to understand better.
This may be my favorite part of this journey.
When the live Challenge begins, I won't be arriving with nothing.
I'll already have:
My website
My Challenge content
My traffic experience
My audience direction
My promotional system
My questions
And several weeks of lessons behind me.
That's why I believe the preparation has been worthwhile.
If you're following this journey and thinking:
“I'm too old to start this.”
or
“I don't understand all this technology.”
remember something.
I'm retired twice—from the military and the Department of Defense—and I'm still learning too.
I'm not trying to learn everything overnight.
I'm taking it:
One article.
One improvement.
One advertisement.
One lesson.
Then another.
That's how Spare Time Profit is being built.
The preparation period is almost over.
The 3-Day Live ClickBank Profit Challenge runs October 6–8.
When the live training begins, I'm going to continue documenting the journey right here.
I'll share what I'm learning.
What catches my attention.
What I plan to change.
And what I think other beginners should know.
So don't disappear now.
The most interesting part of this journey may still be ahead of us.

Before October 6 arrives, I'm going to narrow everything I've learned into the questions I most want answered during the live Challenge.
Those questions will become my roadmap for the three live days.
The countdown continues.
